Garth Steeper graduated from Elam School of Fine Arts in 2003, and has been exhibiting regularly throughout New Zealand and the UK. Garth’s work is represented in a range of private collections, he is currently living in Auckland.
Rejecting minimal and mono-cultural aesthetics in favour of an exhilarating riot of colour and form, Auckland-based artist, Jayden Plank, creates paintings and sculptures that synthesize and investigate the limitlessness of inner worlds and outer space.
Paola King-Borrero’s work is greatly influenced by her International background, cultural sensitivities and her education. Her artistic career has spanned decades of experimentation, utilizing many forms and genres.
Sarah Oostendorp’s practice focuses on the state of mind whilst in the midst of creating large, labour-intensive drawings. She is drawn to repetitive circular movements, as they relax her into a negative state, often when creating the horizon of thoughts disappear and reappear.
Auckland-based ceramic artist, Yeonjae Choi, has been working with clay since 2015. Her works are a study of the relationship between the interior and exterior of the vessel and she takes inspiration from her Korean heritage to inform her ideas.
